For our interactive learning resource we are hoping to include all learners through the various ways of presenting the information. We will have images, text, narration, video, quiz. Beyond the resource, I think ultimately ensuring there is somebody who can support any one who needs any form of support to learn. I worked as an educational assistant for a few years and I know first hand the benefit of simple sitting with a student and supporting them to learn if they have any barriers to learning through a specific resource. I think every resource will have some great elements and some limitations in reaching learners. In our case if someone has a hard time using technology it will be hard, also if someone has any impairments, that would make them unable to see or hear, it would be super challenging to use our resource unless they had an educational assistant working with them directly. If someone is not mobile or cannot speak, they could do well with our resource because they don’t need to move or speak to engage. Other people that would do well with our resource are people who get easily overwhelmed by lots of people because or someone who has social anxiety they don’t need to be around anybody or go to school. They could simply engage with the interactive learning resource from the comfort of their home or own personal device wherever they want to be!
